You will have seen me rave on about the Fitbit Flex recently, purely because of how great it is. So here are 9 reasons to get your own.
- They make you think about how many steps you are doing
- You will find yourself pacing for no reason just to reach 10,000 steps
- You can change the colour of the wristband depending on your outfit, or mood
- You can track how well you sleep so you know when you get restless, and how often
- The battery lasts for ages
- You will lose weight. Do those 10,000 steps a day and you’ll see the weight drop off
- It’s waterproof. Get stepping in the shower guys
- Before you know it, you’re being more active and in much better shape
- It makes you think twice about that cake or pizza, you don’t want to run all those steps do you.
They are great and I honestly cannot recommend getting one enough.
Today I want to talk about the Fitbit. I’ve had my Fitbit almost 2 months now and I really must say how great they are. I’m certain that this is what has helped me lose weight, along with being conscious about what I’m doing and eating.
It helps that I’m working full time at work so I’m constantly hitting 10,000 steps which I find averages out at about 4 miles a day. You’re probably thinking that this isn’t a lot but for someone who is very inactive, it makes such a huge difference.
I’ve had numerous conversations with people about the Fitbit and I haven’t heard one bad thing about it, I mean that’s saying something right?
Obviously I’ve managed to find a few tricks to get my steps up, especially at work. If anyone needs anything from the stock room, I’ll offer to get it. I’m being helpful, and I’m getting my steps up! My managers have caught on but it’s a win-win situation for everyone so who are they to complain!
I can’t tell you how much mine was because I was fortunate enough to get mine as a present. However, here is a link to them on Amazon where they are £59.99.
If you want to know any more about what I think, I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
Do you have or want a Fitbit? What do you think about them?
At the beginning of the year, I set myself a whole bunch of blogging goals that I wanted to achieve by the end of the year.
I set them reasonably low because in my first six months of blogging, my followers on all forms of social media were not increasing all that much, so I set my goals based on that.
Little did I know less than 6 weeks into the year I have almost reached those goals. It feels amazing and I cannot thank my followers and readers enough for giving me that little bit of confidence that I needed to know my blog is still going in the right direction.
You will have seen my post last week about self confidence on #takebackwhatsyours and its little things like this that give me a bit more confidence that I need.
This is mainly just to say, thank you.
Don’t forget to check out my most recent project Spring Gift Swap.
Hello all you lovely people! I know it’s been a whole week since I last posted and I’ve been slightly MIA (however you can follow me on twitter to keep up).
So I’ve recently gotten 3 exciting new things which I’ve been using to help with my fitness.
I got a Fitbit which my entire family now swear by, we all have one and now me and my sister have weekly competitions! If you are even considering getting one then you definitely should, I can’t recommend it enough. It definitely gets you motivated and keeps you active throughout the day.
I also now have Charlotte Crosby’s (the one from Geordie Shore) 3 Minute Belly Blitz DVD. I absolutely love it. It’s so much better doing rounds of 3 minutes and you realise that you can do so much more than you think. I’ve loved doing it and I find it’s much better than going to the gym.
Lastly, I have a beautiful new Nike tshirt which I’ve been wearing for working out. It makes working out much better because I want to be able to wear it!
So that’s my week wrapped up. I’m back in the head space to be writing again so expect much more this week!
