Prairie Pizzazz Luau Party Edition

So it is finally here, unfortunately much later than everyone else’s but still here.

Prairie Pizzazz

I love the packaging that Prairie Charms always send their products in, it’s always so pretty and has small details added.

Prairie Pizzazz

I had to refrain from literally ripping the box open, #bloggerproblems. Who am I kidding? I couldn’t wait to get into it.

The first thing I saw was the floral Lei, which is so pretty! I love all the pinks, obviously.

I love all the knot ties, especially with the palm trees on! I swear by these knot ties, they are literally all over my room. I find they last so long and don’t rip my hair out like normal hair ties. In fact, I don’t think I own any normal hair ties now!

Prairie Pizzazz

This Faryn Hair Clip with a sea shell on, it is so cute and I feel just like a mermaid wearing it!

The Hana Bow Tie Scrunchie is a pretty pink and right up my street. I have a number of scrunchies now and I love wearing them when I have my hair up to make it a bit nicer!

The anklet is so cute! I would definitely wear this with rolled up jeans and pumps! I like how subtle it is, really my style.

I am completely in love with the tropical punch drink set, I love the flamingo stirrers and I need to find some more of these for next summer! I will definitely be making my kool aid fruity cocktails so stay tuned.

Prairie Pizzazz

The nail glitter is so cute. I love the light pink with hints of blue and golds, I already have the perfect nail varnish for it to go with.

I think this s’more snack pack is absolutely adorable and I cannot wait to make my s’mores, probably after a few too many of those cocktails!

Prairie Pizzazz

Last but not least is the ‘Make A Mess’ confetti. It’s lovely confetti mixed up with pineapples and flamingos, perfect to add in to photos! Or perhaps to make confetti balloons.

Prairie Pizzazz

There’s a few things that I would consider slightly overpriced and wouldn’t buy myself for those prices. However, as before, the box is very good value and the products are always excellent quality.

Check out Prairie Charms on Twitter and Instagram.

Kawaii Box

When this cute little parcel of joy dropped through my letterbox I was so excited!

I opened the Kawaii Box* immediately and found a cute little thank you card and some pretty pink kawaii tissue paper.

Now the main items of the box were so cute, naturally.

This adorable bracelet reminds me of the bead bracelets you would get or make when you were a small child! However I really like this one, the pastel colours are so pretty! Also this colourful Llama keyring is also right up my street. I don’t know what it is about keyring but if someone in my family goes somewhere new, I always get a new one! So this is a cute addition to my collection.

The DIY candy necklace is also another great idea! Making your own necklace out of pieces of candy? Now you’re talking!

This doughnut mirror looks good enough to eat. I actually lost my small mirror so this couldn’t have come at a better time!

An adorable toast coaster was also in the box. It is just too cute! Every time I see it, it make me smile! A great addition to my room.

Does the little mushroom plush not just remind you of the mushrooms in the Mario games? Too cute.

And you cannot go wrong with all this stationary. A tiny rubber to go with the cutest pencils I have ever seen!

A whole pouch of stickers that will be a great addition to my diaries!

Sticky notes in every shape and size means that whatever I need a sticky note for, I will have it.

Last but certainly not least, are these glitter pens with little gems. Now we’re talking! I cannot wait to start using these in cards and in my scrapbooks!

Overall I am seriously impressed with everything that came in this months Kawaii Box. I would 100% get one again as it was so easy to order one and get it sent to the UK!

Blogger Beauty Box

Blogger Beauty Box

As it would seem I am often surrounded by beauty bloggers and when Vix Meldrew thought she would create a beauty box aimed at bloggers, I knew I had to have one!

She has put so much love and thought in to putting together these boxes and the outcome just goes to show that she has done very well!

She got branded boxes made with her logo printed on them which are ideal for keeping the products undamaged while being posted. There’s nothing worse than having beauty products broken in the post.Blogger Beauty Box

First impressions were very good. It is a good first box and I couldn’t wait to start using the products.

Dusty Girls “Pacific Ocean Shimmer” Lipgloss

Blogger Beauty Box

A product that I already have and absolutely love, I’m almost through my first one so I’m glad to have another. You can see my first review here.

MooGoo Cover-Up Buttercup Moisturiser

Blogger Beauty Box

A product that I would have chosen myself as I’m not a huge fan of moisturisers because I just end up sticky (TMI?) but I have really enjoyed using this product. Being at a festival last weekend meant that I was always conscious of the weather. So with this moisturiser having SPF 15 meant that I had a bit of extra time looking at the sun before worrying about burning.

W7 Eyelust Mascara

Mascaras are actually my weakness when it comes to beauty products, along with blusher, I have more mascaras than any other beauty product I own. So when I saw this I knew I would love it. I love mascaras that make my eyelashes look big (I mean doesn’t everyone?), so I was already on to a winner. Plus I love trying different types of brushes.

W7 Fluorescent Kiss Lipstick

I have only been using lipsticks for the last couple of years, it’s not something that I’ve felt the need to always wear. I think I would have to be seriously brave to wear this bright pink lipstick but it’s always good to have something like this handy.

I personally think that subscription boxes are always hit and miss no matter what kind they are and on this occasion Vicky has done extremely well. For £10 it is well worth the money! I’ve already signed up for the next box and I can’t wait to see what’s inside!

July Degustabox

As a company we are working very closely with for Pretty Lovely Bloggers first event in the West Midlands, I though I should share the July Summer Degustabox* with you all!

1. Weetabix On The God (£1.49 each)

I’ve seen these around in shops before but never actually picked one up. They come in chocolate and vanilla flavours and are a perfect quick breakfast. At 236 calories per bottle, they could be worse off and they also include 4 vitamins and iron. As I’m starting my new job, this will come in handy as I have a half an hour drive to work and I probably won’t always have time for a proper breakfast.

2. Fru Snax (£1.25 each)

I ave never seen these before but they are certainly intriguing. These are simply fruit and yoghurt pieces with flavours that complement each other. With each pack less than 50 calories there is no reason to feel guilty and still get your sugar fix!

3. Lambrini (£3.49)

I think Lambrini has a bad name for itself but they still do so well so I will be giving this a chance before writing it off. t just reminds me of being 16 and everyone drinking it because it was cheap! However at first look, I was really impressed with the design on the bottle, really cute and subtle! As for the flavour – So Strawberry, The Fruity One, it’s definitely right up my street. I love fruity wine so I am sure I will enjoy it. This is part of their new range and the other flavours look great too!

Verdict: I tried it, and I wasn’t as big of a fan as I thought I might have been.

4. Say Yes To No (£1.49)

Another new product for me and whilst sour cream and onion wouldn’t be my first choice, these are a great snack. What I love about this product is that it is promoting that they are not lying through their marketing, they are not selling an artificial product and there has been no photoshopping. I would love to see more products from this company!

5. Newton’s Appl Fizzic’s (£1.20)

If I could compare this to anything it would be appletizer, do they still make that anymore? There definitely aren’t enough apple products on the market and this one is delicious. It contains 40% less sugar than your regular apple juice.

6. Tasty Little Numbers (£3.49 each)

These are crazy tasty foods in smaller portions. These are great to chuck in the microwave after a long day and to make it even better, they’re only 200 calories in each portion! For only 200 calories a portion, you don’ need to feel guilty about eating it. You’re getting great tasting food that is filling of not very much!

7. Taking the Pea (£1.50)

Possibly one of the strangest snacks I have come across, a range of flavoured peas! Fresh English grown peas which provide more protein than crisps (well I should think so) and less fat than nuts, high fibre and less than 145 calories, they are the perfect nutritious snack in a big enough packet that you don’t feel like you’re missing out.

The newest addition to this month’s round of Degustaboxes is something called DB’s Discoveries. Sharing brans that they love which customers may not have discovered yet.

This month I received 2 bottles of Little Miracles in their green tea & pomegranate and lemongrass tea & orange juice flavours. I’ve tried the first of those flavours before but not the second. Each bottle is a blend of organic tea, juice and ginseng. Then sweetened with agave, each bottle is less than 90 calories. There is nothing artificial added which is always a bonus. They are the perfect pick-me-up whatever time of day it is.

This months Degustabox has clearly revolved around low calorie and nutritious snacks and meals. My first impressions were that I am very impressed by this months box. I will enjoy every single item in this box, or I’ve probably gobbled it all up by now! Some of these are such great products which I would have found if it wasn’t for Degustabox! The value of this months box is also really good, for £12.99 including P+P you get £22.94 worth of products which is almost £10 extra!

I’m beyond excited to be working with Degustabox in the future and having them as part of our future Pretty Lovely Bloggers Events.

If you fancy getting next months Degustabox, you can get £3 off your first box using C1DAC, I haven’t regretted signing up yet!

Also don’t forget, it you want to attend our future PLB events sign up here.
